That Summertime Feelin’ Winds Down

It’s hard to believe that August will be looking us smack dab in the face within days! If you’re like me, you look forward to summer all year long - so I must admit that my sadness is a bit real. But as business owners we milk that summertime feelin’ until the last drop! Although August is a sign of summer winding down in the upcoming weeks, it’s still a busy time for businesses in the Northwoods with late-summer customers in addition to fall and winter preparations - and let’s not forget that life happens in between!

EVALUATE

Sit down with a cup of coffee (don’t forget your pen and paper) and take advantage of a little breathing room in your August schedule to evaluate your summer. What worked well and what worked not-so-well? What product or service do you need to make a last-minute push on? Heading into the fall season, what are your top goals and plan of attack to achieve them?

REJUVENATE

Burnout is real for business owners! It’s not a bad idea to step away from the office for a little R&R to rejuvenate the soul! Can’t go too far? Remember, people travel for hours to come to the Northwoods - venture out to enjoy the area, take a day trip, whatever you need to do to get your head back in the game. Then take on the tail end of the season with full force, a rested body and a clear mind. You’re a Rockstar, you’ve got this!
